I’m a first time home buyer and like most I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. When I was working with my mortgage broker to get pre approval for the mortgage he asked me if I have real estate agent, and of course I didn’t. He said he has somebody very good in mind and he was working with her all the time. I was very nervous about meeting her, don’t know if that jest me, but I didn’t want somebody arrogant who would make me feel ignorant about the process. Well, that definitely didn’t happen. Iryna Rybchynska was very quick to get in touch with me after introduction email. She set up a call the following day and immediately put me at ease. She explained me how it all will work, asked me a lot of questions what I would like to see in my property and immediately after conversation start sending me options for the apartments. Up to now it all sounds like a normal real estate agent job description, however here’s a kicker. At the time I did not live in the city and on top of that I don’t drive. I lived two hours outside of the city in the mountains and could come to the city very rarely. Iryna was amazing and went above and beyond with the whole process and figured out the ways to make the search work even without my physical presence. She set up numerous virtual viewing almost every day after 5 pm, to accommodate my work schedule, and worked late into the night to make sure to show me as many properties as she could. When we finally found property I loved and decided to put an offer, she was amazing negotiating price in my favor, helping me with all the logistics of the transaction, which lots of times included couriering stuff back and forth as most of the time I couldn’t be there in person. The whole process was so much better and fun just because Iryna’s dedication and passion to find a right property for you and make the whole process as seamless as possible. Even after deal was done and her part was over, she helped me so much with getting everything set up with my apartment, I really could not have done it without her. a year ago Thanks to Iryna, for being an excellent real-estate agent for me, the best I've dealt with. She developed a list of suitable homes to look at when I was looking to buy and always offered her opinions and advice to help me pick out an ideal home, tuning the listings along the way once I knew what features were important to me. She is very nice and patient and personable and the buying process which I normally hate turned out to be quite fun. As for negotiating a price, make sure you let her handle it as she got us a price way below what I was expecting by almost $10,000. She definitely knew what she was doing!
